Strand closed

A ROAD outside Londonderry’s cityside police station will be closed until 6pm tomorrow to facilitate ongoing work at the front of the compound. The road was closed on Tuesday and will remain blocked until tomorrow evening. The PSNI explained: “Strand Road will be closed from Asylum Road to Lawrence Hill for three days to facilitate ongoing work at the front of the police station. Pedestrian access only on the footpath opposite the station. Bingo hall patrons will also be allowed access.”
