Stranocum gets ready to celebrate!

PREPARATIONS are now well underway for the three-day festival of fun and games to mark the official unveiling of the new Communications unit vehicle for the Community Rescue Service at Stranocum starting on Friday, August 20.

Organisers, Stranocum Development Group, in association with the CRS, have put in a great deal of time and effort into making the event a memorable one with the aim of bringing together villagers in a spirit of harmony to mark the annivesary of the death of teenager, James Elliott.

The organisers are intent on celebrating the three days with a mixture of music, entertainment, a church service and, most importantly, the first public appearance of the Community Rescue Unit vehicle fundraising for which was launched following the tragedy which robbed the village of a highly respected young man.
