Stranocum Village Plan nears completion

Stranocum and District Development Group wish to extend an invitation to all local residents, business owners, groups and agencies to attend a Public Meeting at which those present will have opportunity to review the draft Stranocum 5 Year Village Plan.

Since the last public meeting in March, VMS Consults Ltd. has been consulting widely on the content of the 5 year village plan. Before a final plan is produced the consultants wish local people to have an opportunity to comment on the draft vision, aims and objectives of Stranocum’s Village Plan. The meeting will take place on: Tuesday 7th June @ 7.30 p.m. in Bushvalley Primary School, Stranocum

Stranocum and District Development Group has received financial support for the development of the Village Plan through the North East Rural Development Programme and Ballymoney Borough Council. The group would also wish to acknowledge the support that they have received from Supporting Communities Northern Ireland in managing and delivering the project thus far.

Following the meeting on 7th June a final plan will be put in place and used to lobby for funds for village renewal and development. A summary of the final plan will be made available to all residents and interested groups in early summer.
