Strathfoyle biomass application
THE Foyle Food Group has applied for permission to build a biomass generator in Strathfoyle.
The system will generate electricity for the meat producer and will be able to handle 15k tonnes a year.
The application is for “development of an anaerobic digestion plant, to utilise organic feedstock material from the Foyle Food Group to generate electricity, with an annual capacity of 15,000 tonnes.”
