Street collection thanks
A LOCAL woman who carried out a street collection and door-to-door collection in the Moira area would like to thank those who generously donated.
A total of £79.65 was collected from both events, which will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Local woman Rosemary Snoddy undertook the collections with her six-year-old daughter Eva, with the street collection taking place on October 8 2011 and the door-to-door collection taking place on December 3 2011.
Rosemary carried out the collection on behalf of her employers, People 1st, Banbridge, who were raising funds for the charity.
She would like to thank everyone for supporting such a worthwhile cause.
