Strong winds cause travel disruption

STRONG winds which have battered Northern Ireland overnight are causing disruption around Lisburn this morning.

Police are urging motorists to exercise extreme care as fallen trees and debris have blocked many roads.

Manse Road in Crumlin is closed due to a fallen tree and the Upper Malone Road from its junction with Dunmurry Lane is also closed.

There are also reports of a fallen tree on the Fort Road near Ballylesson.
