Students take centre stage at Celebrating Excellence event

‘Simply amazing’ was the general consensus from teachers, family and friends of the 59 students from 43 schools, who were recognised for top marks in the summer 2014 CCEA GCSE examinations.

Amongst the award recipients were three students from Lisburn - James Milliken, Kerrie Patterson and Jennifer Johnston.

Friends student James Milliken received an award for English Language, Kerrie Patterson, from Wallace High School, was awarded for her results in Home Economics and Jennifer Johnston, who is also a students at Wallace High School, was honoured for her her hard work in the field of journalism.

Justin Edwards, Chief Executive at CCEA, was there to congratulate the students on their remarkable achievements.
