Styling tips for Hillhall ladies
HILLHALL: At the March meeting Hillhall WI had as their guest speaker Christine Rankin, a personal stylist who gave a talk on fashion.
She challenged members about the amount of clothes in their wardrobes saying that most of us wear only 20% of our wardrobe 80% of the time and it should be the other way round. Christine demonstrated the mixing and matching of separates and the use of accessories to make an outfit suitable for different occasions. There was an opportunity to ask questions before a vote of thanks was proposed by Anna Scott.
A competition for the prettiest clothes hanger was won by Mildred Robinson. The Birthday Flowers were presented to Gwen Colin and Jean Hughes was the winner of the ballot.
