Success ‘4’ young swimmers

COUNCILLOR William Leathem, Deputy Mayor, recently presented swimming certificates to graduates of Success 4 U Swim School.

The Swim School focuses on eliminating the inherent fear of water that we all seem to have.

A host of young people were recently awarded swim certificates, many of whom were unable to swim before joining the Swim School.

The successful swimmers were:

Beginners Breast Stroke: Duckling Award Levels 2/3/4: Sophie Waugh, Alan Millar, Noah Bell, Erin Cormican and Nicholas McLoughlin.

Distance 5m + National Swim Award Levels 1-4: Alice Groucher, Sarah Groucher, Anna McPherson, Charlotte Waugh, Poppy Laverty, Ethan Cormican, Robyn Kearney, Kai Brown and Nina Pickering.

Distance 10m + National Swim Award level 2: Annalise Whiteside and Emma Turner. Distance 25m + National Swim Award Levels 5-6, Daniel McHugh, Sarah McLoughlin, Lesley Kearney and Stephen Nelson.

Distance 50m + National Swim Award Level 6: Stefan Kearney. Improvers Front/Back Crawl and Deep Water Skills

Distance 10m + National Swim Award Level 4-5 :Kai Brown and Elle Edgar. Distance 25m + National Swim Award Level 5-6: Molly Bird, Jack McKeag, Jade Pickering, Conal Devlin, Amber Morrison and Reeve Brown.
