Success for Larne ladies at gala awards

Two Larne ladies have successfully completed their Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development professional qualifications.

At a glittering awards evening organised by DMS Ireland, Lyndsey Holden, receptionist at Actavis (formerly Warner Chilcott) received her certificate for completing the Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice.

And Hazel McKay, human resources advisor at AES UK, received her certificate for the Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Joint winner of the Special Award for Intermediate Qualifications Hazel McKay said: “I was delighted to be recognised by the leaders in human resources for an award. “

Hazel added: “It was a lovely surprise and very encouraging that my knowledge and experience was of this standard.”

This year’s awards event was an extra special occasion as DMS celebrated its 15th year as a centre for the CIPD.

DMS has worked with over 1,000 individuals on CIPD qualifications and has achieved Band 1 Centre Status making it a Top Performing CIPD Centre.
