Success for Moyle Marie Curie annual steak barbecue

MOYLE Marie Curie held their annual steak BBQ on Friday the 18th June. This very successful event took place at McMullan's farm, Armoy and a very enjoyable evening was had by all.

The event proved to be even more popular than ever this year and attracted both young and old on a beautiful June evening. The BBQ has been a successful fundraiser for this very worthy cause for many years now and this year proved to be no different. Through ticket sales and people digging deep for the raffle the hard working team have successfully raised 15611.04.

Many thanks to McMullans for the use of their property and for their co-operation and help in preparation for the event. Thanks also to anyone who donated or helped in any way.

This fantastic event is just one of the many great fundraisers held by the dedicated and hard working group who give of their time so often throughout the year.

The money raised by Moyle Marie Curie fundraising group pays testament to the endless work and effort put in by the group. A very big thank you to the team and of course the very generous supporters who support functions and events despite the financial crisis at this time.
