Successful first competition for Young Conquerors

BALLYMACASH Young Conquerors Flute Band held their first band parade competition on Saturday April 10 in Lisburn City Centre. A total of 36 bands from across the province attended the very successful parade.

It was led by the highly respected Lisburn Young Defenders Flute Band and bands travelled from as far away as Enniskillen, Cloughmills, Magherafelt and Ballywalter. The standard was very high with some of the best blood and thunder and melody bands on show.

For some of the bands this was their first parade of the year with Downshire Guiding Star and Ulster Grenadiers of Carrick both standing out in their new uniforms.
