Successful fundraiser at Laganview Enterprise Centre

LAGANVIEW Enterprise Centre in Old Warren held a very successful coffee morning on Friday, September 28, from 10am-12pm in aid of Macmillan Cancer in conjunction with The Resurgam Community Development Trust and volunteer worker Sara Taylor.

The coffee morning was held from 10am-12pm in LaganView’s community hall and attracted over 100 people who were able to enjoy a cup of tea and coffee along with various treats and delights.

Lisburn Mayor William Leathem also supported the event and was able to draw the raffle for a series of prizes on offer that morning.

The staff of LaganView and Resurgam thank all those who helped out on the morning, donated treats, donated prizes for the raffle or simply gave cash donations.

A grand total of £477 was raised on the day and it is hoped that this will be able to become an annual event.
