Suffolk Sheep Club annual prizegiving

Members from the North Antrim & East L/Derry Suffolk Sheep Club celebrated another successful year at their prize giving ceremony in the Bushtown House Hotel Coleraine.

Club Chairman John Hegarty welcomed everyone and gave a special welcome to special guests Mr and Mrs Daniel McAlister and Mr and Mrs Packie Donnelly.

Chairman John Hegarty highlighted the events which had taken place over the season and thankedeveryone who had played a role in ensuring their success.

Packie Donnelly was master judge for the club flock competition held in the days running up to the dinner and he announced his judging decisions during the evening when he awarded the top flock award to Martin Butlers Castlewood flock. Packie thanked the club for asking him to judge the event and congratulated all those who took part commenting on the very high standard of stock presented in all sections.

Club Vice Chairman Jason Watson thanked the following club Sponsors for their support throughout the year, Paul Sloan, Butchers Ballymoney, Thompsons Feeds, Natural Stockcare Ltd, Glens Farm Supplies, Fane Valley Stores, North Antrim Stores Mosside & Ivan Smyth Bushmills all who had given tremendous support to the club over the year.
