Summer Fair

Dunseverick Parish Church is holding a Summer Fair at Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills this Saturday (August 18).

There will be over 20 stalls. Doors open at 10.30am until 4pm. Admission is £5 including food or £2 if no food is required. Everyone welcome.

Lagg Hall blessing

THIS Sunday after Holy Communion at 11am, the congregation of St Patrick’s, Armoy, will make their way down to the Lagg Hall for the blessing and opening of the new porch.

The porch, which was designed by Jack McCurdy and attracted a grant from the Lottery Fund, was built by Armoy Homes from plans kindly drawn up by architect Lee Walker.

The congregation will be able to have a good look round the fine new porch, and enjoy a cup of tea together in the hall. Everyone is very welcome.

Lammas Fair pitches

Ballycastle Presbyterian Church is asking local church or charity organizations if they would like a pitch at the Lammas Fair in Ballycastle.

They have a few pitches left in Ballycastle Presbyterian Church car park. If so please contact Paul Kane on 028 2076 3608 or 07908632525 after 5pm.

Bible Club

Finvoy 5-day Bible Club (Landlubbers) is to be held in Finvoy Presbyterian Church until Friday 17th August from 7 to 9pm.

All children aged 4 years and upwards very welcome (come dressed as pirates). Friday night in family fun night for the whole family.

Week of fun with a pirate theme, all leaders will be dressed as pirates too!

School Service

The Ramoan and Culfeightrin parishes invite young people to Holy Trinity Church for a special Back to School service on Sunday 26 August at 11:30am.

They inivte all young people to attend in their school uniforms and, during the service, they will be offered a gift for returning to school.

Bible Club

The Kilraughts Reformed Presbyterian Church Holiday Bible Club are in keeping with the Olympic theme by holding a five day Bible Pentathlon until Friday 17th August.

It’s from 10am - 12 noon for boys and girls aged 4 -12 so why not come along for plenty of fun and games including bible stories, quizzes, crafts and much more!!

Car boot sale

Lots of stuff lying around the house you’d like to get rid off? Or just fancy a shopping spree?

The Church of Ireland Untied Parish of Ballymoney, Finvoy and Rasharkin are holding a car boot sale and fund raiser this Saturday (18th August) in the Parish Centre car park Queen Street. Scouts back

Ballintoy and Dunseverick Scouts will be returning in September after a first season.

The group meets on Friday evenings from 7:30pm to 9pm in Ballintoy Parish Hall or perferably outdoors. The Scouts are open to boys and girls from the age of 10 and a half upwards.

Toddler groups

THE Billy and Derrykeighan parishes Parent and Toddler group, Colman’s Kidz, will resume on Tuesday 4 September, it has been announced.

The group meets every Tuesday morning between 10am to 11:30am during term time in the Allen and Adair Hall.

The cost is £2 per family and a snack is included.

All pre-schoolers are welcome along with parents or grandparents.

Meanwhile Mount Druid Parent and Toddler Group of Dunseverick Parish is taking a break during July and August but will return in September.
