Summer seismic survey is planned
A SECOND seismic survey is to be conducted in south and east Antrim this summer.
TESLA Exploration International Ltd employees will carry out the 2D vibreosis testing on behalf of energy firm InfraStrata, starting in mid-June and continuing for six to eight weeks. The survey deploys large, slow-moving trucks.
InfraStrata is licensed to explore for oil and natural gas deposits in an area that stretches from Larne as far as Lough Neagh.
