The aim of the Summer Reading Challenge is to read six library books during the summer holidays and each child will advance as they read through three stages - Blast Off, Space Chase and Lunar Landing.

Free resources including foldout sticker charts, glow in the disk wristbands, pencils and spinners will reward each child as they progress. Children completing the Summer Reading Challenge will receive a certificate as well as a voucher for a free DVD loan.

The Summer Reading Challenge is just one of many exciting schemes that Libraries NI is developing to help children love reading. Children age 4 – 11 are invited to call into any local library and sign up to the ‘Space Hop’ Challenge today! Go to www.librariesni.org.uk
