Summer to be busy with huge range of activities planned across Mid Ulster
Between Cookstown Leisure Centre, the Hub and Burnavon, families should be able to find something to pique all interests from watersports to dance, cooking, music, crafts and a wide range of sports.
The Hub have pulled together a jam packed season with cupcake decorating, arts and crafts, dance classes and even a creative writing workshop spanning six weeks.

Hide AdTheir summer programme will suit little people ranging aged four to 14, with four to eight-year-olds visiting between 11am-1pm and nine-14-year-olds from 2-4pm.
Their calendar of events runs from July 21 to August 28; sessions must be pre-booked.
At the Burnavon kids with an interest in music can scratch their itch with Making Music Workshops between July 28 and August 1.
Those aged 13+ who can play a musical instrument or sing are being invited to spend a week learning about the music industry with the most knowledgeable tutors around.

Hide AdBoys and girls (six+) who dream of becoming a ballet star are also catered for at the Burnavon from August 4-8.
It is promised that “aspiring performers will get a taste for all that goes into making a ballet and a peek of the life of a professional dancer”.
It even caters for those with or without dance training.
Cookstown Leisure Centre’s summer scheme runs from July 21 to August 15, whilst the swimming pool will host a range of classes such as Pool/ Rookie Life Guard to the Swim Academy and RLSS Survive and Swim course.
There is also a vast range of sport programmes taking place at Mid Ulster Sports Arena to include netball, soccer, gaelic, athletics, Disability Friday Clubs and multi sports.
Ballyronan Marina is offering canoeing and sailing camps, while Moneymore Summer Scheme will also welcome six to 14-year-olds.
