Support Adopt A Child charity

A street collection for Adopt A Child in Ballymoney last month raised £275.41.

The collection, on October 27, was organised by the charity’s local representative, Wilson McIntyre and will go towards the Adopt-A-Child Christmas Appeal to provide meals and gifts for the 4,500 children in Guatemala and Albania that are not yet being sponsored.

Wilson expressed thanks to the public for supporting the collection and the volunteers who gave up their time to help out.

He also asked that Times readers to consider bringing hope and joy to a child’s life this Christmas by giving friends and families a gift that will really make a difference.

Adopt-A-Child works with needy children in Albania and Guatemala. The children receive good nutritional meals, basic health and dental care, and Bible teaching.
