Support the Blind Centre’s Algarve Challenge

COLERAINE Blind Centre has launched its Tandem Cycle Challenge - and needs support from the Coleraine public.

The Challenge will see at least five visually challenged cyclists connected with the RNIB Blind Centre taking on a 150 mile cycle in the sunny Algarve, Portugal in June next year.

The cyclists will be accompanied on their week-long trip by some members of the Bann Wheelers Cycling Club.

It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for some blind and partially sighted tandem riders to experience warm weather cycling in a beautiful country.

Considerable fundraising will be undertaken by the cyclists, their parents and friends to raise money for the Challenge.

If you would like to make a donation, drop into the RNIB office at 37 Abbey Street, Coleraine or call 028 7032 0333.
