Supporting awards scheme at Business Network meeting

AT a recent meeting of The Business Network in Banbridge, David McKay, People's Champion, Tesco, took the opportunity to tell members about his role in promoting and supporting the Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards Scheme.

The awards provide one-off donations to local projects that support children and their education and welfare, elderly people and adults and children with disabilities.

The Member Spot was taken by Donagh McKeown of Relive Productions who offer a range of video production and entertainment services including commercial video production for the Web and DVD, documentary film-making, voice over services, MC and disco entertainment.

Donagh previously worked with Downtown Radio, BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester and most recently with Northern Sounds based in Co. Monaghan and he treated the members to a video presentation.

The Business Network will meet again at 7.30am this Thursday 30 September when entrepreneur Barry Kilmartin of Citi Golf Belfast will be the invited speaker.

Meetings of The Business Network begin at 7.30am in the upstairs conference room, Banbridge Enterprise Centre and end by 9am allowing busy people the opportunity to meet before their regular working day begins. All business representatives and business owners new and established are invited to attend.
