Sure Start celebrating National Parents Week

Elaine Donnelly, Manager of Coleraine Sure Start, explained: “We would encourage families and those agencies who support families to come along and join in with us.

“We kick off the week with a Scavenger Hunt and finish off on Thursday with an Information and Networking Event in the Leisure Centre. Please come along – it is sure to be fun!”

The Scavenger Hunt will take place at the Trim Trail, Coleraine, from 10am on Wednesday.

On a networking event will take place at Coleraine Leisure Centre between 11am and 2pm.

Come long and find out about Surestart and how they can help you. This event is open to parents and to anyone who works with families in the statutory, community and voluntary agencies.

Sure Starts aim is to work with parents and children to promote the physical, intellectual and social development to ensure they are ready to flourish when they get to school. They offer many services to families and children who are four years and under.
