Suspected arson attack destroys retail unit

POLICE are continuing to investigate the cause of a fire that destroyed disused commercial premises on the Shore Road last week.

The former BHF Bargains store near the Mill Road junction was extensively damaged in the blaze, which was reported at around 9.15pm last Wednesday.

NIFRS crews from Glengormley, Belfast and Lisburn battled for over six hours to extinguish the fire, which it’s thought was started deliberately.
