Suspected assault at Waveney Avenue
Police are investigating a suspected assault in which a man was attacked by youths in the Waveney Avenue area of Ballymena at around 10pm on Wednesday, October 29.
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The man is believed to have been attacked by five youths, all wearing hoodies.
“They attacked him with baseball bats and sticks and then made off. The man was treated in hospital for his injuries, but these are not thought to be life threatening.
“If you witnessed the assault, please contact police in Ballymena on the non-emergency number 101.”
