Suspected stolen goods found in ‘Santa sack’
Stolen goods have been discovered in Coleraine after police searched a man carrying a ‘Santa sack’ in the town centre.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team from the North Coast PSNI recovered over £1,000 of suspected stolen goods during a follow up search at the man’s home address.
The man has been detained by the police.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “A note to all those children aged nine months to 99 years who may be a little worried: this was not the REAL Santa Claus.”
