Lettuce Grow Allotments last week welcomed the Assemblyman to their scheme where he had the opportunity to cast his eye over the plots for the start of the 2013 growing season.

The plot holders have been busy over the winter months preparing for the spring. Mr Swann said: “Lettuce Grow Allotments are a wonderful example of how the private sector can meet social need for the benefit of all. They also provide excellent discount for local community groups and I am pleased to hear that Harryville Partnership Initiative have taken advantage of this opportunity.
