Swann welcomes double-glazing moves
NORTH Antrim Ulster Unionist MLA Robin Swann has welcomed confirmation from the Minister of Social Development that the double glazing schemes announced some time ago and then withdrawn have been re-tendered.
Assemblyman Swann said: “I have confirmed with the Minister that the proposal to have all social housing properties double glazed is back on the agenda with a proposed completion date of March 2015.
“I have asked the Minister to detail which areas of North Antrim still require double-glazing and when this will be provided.

Hide Ad“Cold weather and the accompanying fuel poverty are serious issues affecting my constituents and impacting upon their health and well-being and I will be urging the Minister to ensure there is no further slippage in the delivery of this important initiative,” said Assemblyman Swann.
