Sydney's charity chop will aid Coates children
Carrick Grammar pupil Sydney Clarke will have her flowing locks chopped to raise funds for local children Noah and Gracie Coates who suffer from Vanishing White Matter Disease.
The 14-year-old whose hair has had nothing more than a trim in two-and-a-half years will take the plunge at House of Hair, on March 31.
Sydney is confident that her head will be in the safe hands of stylist Carly Mogey.
Her hair will then be donated to a cancer charity.
