Talent ID day for local para athletes to be staged at Valley

Local para athletes are being invited to a talent ID day next week, with the possibility of selection for the Commonwealth Games team.

Triathlon Ireland is organising the para-triathlon talent ID day on Sunday, March 12.

The event will be held at the Valley Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey. It will run between 8:30am and 2pm.

The event is free to enter and open to all levels and standards for competitors aged over 14 years.

Entrants could have the potential to be selected for the Commonwealth Games team next year or even have what it takes to compete at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020.
