Talk on history of St Saviour’s Church

The 200th anniversary of the church of St Saviour’s at Connor and the 16 centuries of continuous worship on the site is being celebrated this Friday night, September 13, with a talk at 7.30pm.

Being delivered by historian Roland Spottiswoode, themes will include Connor and the early church, Medaeval Kells and Connor, The Reformation and the 16th century, Rebellion and Restoration, the rebuilding of the churdh of Bishop Alexander and 20th Century Connor. Everyone welcome to attend.
