Tariffs reduced by Firmus

Firmus energy has confirmed that it will be reducing its tariff prices by up to 7.7% in the '˜Ten Towns' licensed area, which includes Banbridge.

This will mean annual savings of £43 for an average domestic customer.

Michael Scott, managing director for firmus energy, explains: “We have more than 28,000 customers in the Ten Towns area and continually strive to keep our natural gas prices as low and as stable as possible for our customers.

“Along with our excellent customer service we monitor all costs and global wholesale fuel prices on a daily basis to ensure our tariffs offer the best value possible and any savings are passed on as soon as we can to our customers,” he concluded.

Ten Towns refers to firmus energy’s natural gas Distribution Network: Coleraine, Derry~Londonderry, Limavady, Ballymoney, Ballymena, Antrim, Craigavon, Banbridge, Armagh and Newry.

Firmus energy has written to all their Ten Towns customers to inform them of this tariff change.

The tariff change is effective from 1st April 2016
