Tasty careers for St Louis Grammar
Over the past week food ambassadors from the tasty careers programme have visited St Louis Grammar School Home Economics department.
They have been promoting the excellent job opportunities in the food and drink manufacturing industry to young people as potential careers with both lucrative salaries and great long term prospects.
Mr Geoff Lamb Business Development Manager for NI Food and Drink Sector Skills and Mr Ciaran O’Kane from Moy Park Poultry provided a thoroughly entertaining and informative profile of their educational path to their current positions, aspects of their day-to-day jobs, salary ranges and aspirations for the future.
This programme proved extremely beneficial for students and provided an excellent insight to the wide range of career opportunities open to students within the food and drink manufacturing industry.
