Tea Dance re-scheduled

THE Mayor’s Christmas Tea Dance which was due to take place next Wednesday, November 30, in the Guildhall has been rescheduled and will instead take place on Tuesday, November 29 in the Guildhall from 2-4pm.

The annual Christmas event is very popular and features local entertainers with refreshments provided. Tickets are free and are now available from Derry City Council.

Mayor Maurice Devenney said: “I’m very much looking forward to this event, one of the last in the Guildhall before the planned renovations begin.

“I know that the event proves extremely popular and would advise people to ring up and book their tickets early. It’s a great social occasion bringing people from throughout the city together and gets the festive season off to a great start.”
