Tea-time fundraiser

Lasting from 2.30 to 4.30pm, on offer will be such treats as Raspberry and Amoretti cake, Lemon Meringue cake, Luxury Chocolate cake and many more, as well as delicious fruit loaves and scones. Having sampled as many as they have room for, guests will then be able to buy the recipes to delight their family and friends over the festive season. Last year this event, called “Let Them Eat Cake” , was very well received by all who came. The afternoon tea will be served on vintage china and will allow lots of time for chat and fellowship. Stalls selling jewellery and other Christmas gifts will also be featured. Everyone is welcome to attend, the whole event costing a modest £4 payable at the door. All proceeds will go the Railway Street Church Refurbishment Fund.
