Team gears up for NI Cruise Car Show in Moneymore

Car enthusiasts from across the region are encouraged to come along this Saturday to see some of the best vehicles in the country at this year's NI Cruise annual Car Show.

The event starts at 11am and will be held at the J&K Coach Yard Moneymore and is supported by Mid Ulster Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP).

This year money raised from the show will go towards the charity PIPS who work with those affected by suicide in our community.

The show welcomes families of all ages and children go free when entering with an accompanying adult. Registration for entry to the event Show ‘n’ Shine competition takes place from 9am – with early registration and display parking advisable!

The Show ‘n’ Shine event will be competitively judged with 15 awards up for grabs in various categories, welcoming entries from all types of vehicles and cars, modified, classic, rally and vintage as well as bikes, lorries and tractors.

The NI Cruise team is also excited to announce a number of new features to the show including host for the day Cool FM DJ Melissa Riddell, live motor sport and a midday jiving class for those country jive lovers.

The event will also appeal to younger audiences with additional activities for kids.

Traders will also be in attendance so come and get stocked up on all your car cleaning supplies at discounted rates.

Councillor Frances Burton, Chair of the PCSP, said the partnership allowed them the opportunity to engage with young people and help spread an appropriate road safety message.

Dean Steele from NI Cruise added: “The NI Cruise Car Show is now in its fifth year and we want to make this the biggest and best yet.”

The event is sponsored by Mid Ulster PCSP, J&K Coaches and local businesses who can be found on the NI Cruise Facebook page.

Entry for cars is £10, Lorries is £15 and spectators are £3 each.
