Tears as Sharon leaves See-Saw Playgroup

THEY don’t come much more popular than Sharon Nicholl who has been a valued worker at the See-Saw Playgroup in Mosside since 2001.

It hardly came as a surprise when a few tears were shed after Sharon was presented with gifts from colleagues to mark her departure.

Playgroup Leader, Elaine King, was full of praise for her colleague.

She said: “Sharon started as a bus escort and when that service ended her role changed to meet the demands of the setting.

“She was a very dedicated member of our staff; always willing to do what was required of her and was very popular with parents, children and staff who will miss her greatly.”

Sharon, who is leaving to childmind a new member of her family, is sad to be saying goodbye to her staff colleagues as well as the children she helped look after.

She said she would retain many fond memories and would greatly miss Pauline Denny, Elaine Reilly and Elaine who had become her good friends down the years as well as all the children she had helped look after down the years.

Sharon, who lives in Mosside, won’t be a stranger promising to pop in when she can to keep in touch.
