The North West Regional College (NWRC) recently held its bi-annual awards presentation for staff who have been recognised by colleagues, for the contributions they have made to College life under the institution’s staff award Scheme.

The nominations were reviewed by a panel made up of one appointed Chairperson and representatives from the College’s three campuses, which are situated across Londonderry, Limavady and Strabane.

As a result of the applications received, seven staff members were selected to receive awards in the various categories.

These were outlined by the College as ‘uniqueness,’ ‘ongoing quality,’ ‘cross college role/activities’ and ‘individual contribution to a team.’

Appropriately, Aisling McHugh was the only winner in the ‘uniqueness’ category.

There were three winners under the ‘ongoing quality’ category. These were Alison Campbell, Ann McDowell and Sabina O’Kane.
