Teen charged over attack on singing Priest's home
A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with a vandalism attack at the parochial house at Sacred Heart Church in Ballyclare late last year, it has been revealed.
The 19-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage and is due to appear at Laganside Magistrates Court on January 28.
It is understood the charge relates to an attack on the Doagh Road home of Father Eugene O’Hagan - one third of the world famous singing group The Priests - on November 28, 2009 during which a number of windows were smashed.
As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
