Teen left inhospital after takeaway attack

A teenager was hospitalised after being attacked by a middle-aged man outside a takeaway in Londonderry city centre recently.

The assault occurred at a takeaway restaurant in the William Street area in the early hours of Sunday, February 21.

Sometime between 1.30am and 2.30am, an 18 year old man was assaulted and required hospital treatment for his injuries which are not life threatening.

It is believed that a man aged between 35 and 45 may have been involved in the assault.

He is thought to be about 5’ 6” tall, of medium build, with blond hair and was wearing a long sleeved blue shirt and blue jeans.
