Teenager injured in violent assault
Police investigating an assault in the laneway between New Mossley and the Manse Road/Prince Charles Way roundabout last month have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
At around 6.30am on October 27, a 17-year-old male was attacked by three unknown males who struck him with a bottle and punched and kicked him in the face.
The victim sustained a number of injuries to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigating officers this week issued an appeal for anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
