Teenager kicked in head and body by gang

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following the assault in the Foyle Road area on Friday, 18 March.

Around 8pm a 15 year old male was sitting close to a car wash when he was assaulted by a number of people.

He was kicked to the head and body a number of times before he ran off in the direction of Southway. He sustained injuries to his face and bruising to his back and shoulders.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this assault or has information in relation to it to contact them at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000.
