Teenagers arrested after burglary

TWO teenagers were arrested following a burglary of a house in Drumellan Gardens.

Cash and a laptop computer were stolen during the early morning raid on the home on Monday, March 22.

A 14-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy were arrested and later released pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.

Police have also urged householders in the Craigavon area to ensure their properties are secure and advised people not to keep large sums of money in the house.

They have also reminded the public to be a good neighbour, a spokesman said: "You know who lives on your street - if you see someone acting suspiciously note down any important details such as a description or car registration and contact police on 0845 600 8000.

"We will follow up on your call and there is every possibility your information could prevent a crime."
