Teens put in boot of car during Randalstown Forest incident

TWO men have been assaulted during an incident in Randalstown Forest last night.

Three girls - all aged 19 - were locked in the boot of a car during the incident, which occurred just after 10pm.

The two males were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

The three females are believed to have been uninjured in the incident.

The five victims were in a parked car when three men, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, approached the vehicle and smashed the windows.

The two males, aged 26 and 21, who were in the car at the time, were assaulted by the men.

The three females were closed in the boot of the car while the assaults took place.

The three men were dressed in black and wore balaclavas and are believed to have been armed with baseball bats and suspected firearms.
