Tell it as it is

AN event aimed at letting people tell their experiences of the Troubles in their own words will take place in Limavady on February 23.

Community Change, an organisation that helps local communities and groups deal with and manage change, has linked with two other organisations involved in helping individuals and communities talk about and deal with the past for this new project.

Community Change has linked with Healing Through Remembering and Towards Understanding and Healing and planning for their event in Limavady to be open to all.

Community Change manager Margaret Ferguson said:" These events will benefit from the input of trained facilitators who can aid dialogue, allowing both individuals and groups to engage on issues concerned with dealing with the past."

The Limavady event will take place in the Radisson Roe Hotel on February, Tuesday 23, beginning at 5.30pm and finishing before 8pm.

The event is open to all. To register for participation call Aine at Community Change on 02890232587 or e-mail aine.maguire@communitychange-ni-org. The event is free of charge.
