The Charity Auction was hosted by Raymond Hill, part owner of the club and owner of Belfast City Auctions, so needless to say, the auction was highly entertaining and raised vital funds for local Lisburn based charity, Home Start.

Julie Corry, Home Start co-ordinator, thanked the Lady Captain, for choosing Home Start as her charity for the year and all those involved in organising, sponsoring and supporting the event, which raised a total of £2700.

The Lady Captain, Ms Aundrea Gray presented both Pamela Ballantine and the Madam Mayor with commemorative Temple Golf club, 20th Anniversary wine and thanked, guests, sponsors and those who bid in the auction for their kind generosity.

Aundrea Gray commented: “Home start is a local charity, with local volunteers, helping local families and rely heavily on donations, so the money raised is integral to its future in the borough.”

The distinguished guests then danced the night away into the early hours to the fabulous six piece band, The Booze Brothers.

Temple Golf & Country Club look forward to the next 20 years of continuing to expand their membership and maintain a prominent status as a leading 9 holes course in Northern Ireland.
