Templepatrick historians have a guided tour of Ballycarry and Larne
BALLYCARRY and Larne were the focus for the annual summer outing of Templepatrick Historical Society on Saturday.
The 40 strong group had as their tour guide for the visit to the area Dr David Hume, and also enjoyed lunch in Ballycarry Community Centre as part of the visit.
They had a walking tour of Templecorran cemetery and viewed the recently restored Orr Monument, as well as other significant graves and the ruins of the Templecorran church, before visiting sites associated with Larne’s industrial and maritime history.
