Paul Hughes of Enagh Youth Forum said: “Finally residents and children living in Strathfoyle can look forward to a play park being built and opened hopefully some time before April 2017. However we have more campaigning to do. After suffering years of neglect by all political parties and local council, we must fight on to ensure the full implementation of the Strathfoyle Community Plan. This includes securing the much needed Multi Use Games Area and Greenway Cycle Path Extension that will finally connect us to our city. Much has been achieved but there is much more to do.”

He said the people of Strathfoyle are delighted at the progress having fought for 25 years for a park.
