Tesco collection

SIR - The members of Cancer Research UK, Ballymoney Committee wish to make it clear that the recent collection at Tesco Store on Sunday, September 23 was not organised by the Ballymoney Committee but was part of Tesco’s fundraising events for Cancer Research UK which is their chosen charity for 2012.

Celebration dance

Ballymaconnelly Renewal Group is holding a celebration dance in their Orange Hall on Saturday, October 6.

The dance starts at 9pm to midnight (doors open at 8.30pm).

Music will be provided by Lorrie Logan, The Ballymena Cowboy. Admission £5.

Harvet tea

FINVOY Presbyterian Church is holding a Harvet Tea in the Church Hall.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 6 from 1pm to 4pm.

The usual stalls will be available including cakes, groceries and vegetables. The proceeds go to the church. Admission £3.50 all welcome.
