Tesco's 'community champion'

Irene, who is from the local area, will be based at the store four days per week and will be responsible for linking up with groups in the local area to understand their needs and try and help in any way possible.

Talking about her appointment, Irene said: “Tesco is always at the heart of the community and I look forward to getting to know the residents and groups in the local area in the coming months in my role as Community Champion.”
