Thanks from Carrick cancer support group

Over £943 was raised during a Stars in their Eyes night at Carrick Golf Club on March 14, organised by John Lemon.

“It was a fabulous night enjoyed by all,” a spokesperson from the group said. “Thanks to Colin Metcalfe for taking our photographs on the night. Colin is one of our sponsors and does family albums [and] memory albums for local people affected by cancer.”

Meanwhile, staff from A & A Catering at the club donated their tips on Mother’s Day, raising a further £305.
